Structure
Two of the main Teksid plants are located in Brazil, an iron foundry and an aluminum foundry. The two units are located in the same industrial park in Betim, Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region.
Iron Foundry
The factory has a total area of 387.287m² with a covered area of 107.065m². It is the largest plant of the Teksid Group with an installed capacity to produce 300,000 tons of iron castings parts per year and it employs over 3,700 people in direct job positions.
Aluminum Foundry
With a production capacity of six tons per year to produce aluminum cylinder heads, the plant is located in the same industrial park as the iron foundry. The total area of the unit is 33.000m², with 11.140m² of covered area.
